How To Make Traditional Brownies
For my birthday, September 28 I had made traditional brownies for my girlfriend. Well it was supposed to be her making them for me but hey. So I've received a lot of requests for the recipe so here it is.
- Brownies
- 10 tbsp. (5oz/145g) unsalted butter
- 1 1/4 cups (9oz/250g) granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp. (2.2/65g) unsweetened
- cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup (2.5oz/70g) all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup (2.6g/75g) chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
To make:
- Preheat your oven to 190ÂșC.
- Melt the butter in a microwave.
- Mix the eggs, butter and sugar in a medium bowl.
- Mix all the other dry ingredients (except the nuts and/or chocolate chips) in another bowl and stir until fully blended. Be careful not to add too much cocoa, just 2 tablespoons will be enough.
- Add the dry mixture to the eggs little by little to avoid having lumps.
- Add the chocolate chips and/or nuts and stir until fully blended.
- Prepare a small baking tray and pour the mixture inside. And shove it in the oven for 20 minutes.
- Take out of the oven an cut into small squares and serve.
- If you like, you can serve with chocolate fudge (melt chocolate in hot milk to make a thick fudge)
Baked goodies always put you in a good mood, try these with bae or your family to lighten the mood a bit.
Yours in baking,
Njescor
